Our Grantmaking Framework

The Herzfeld Foundation makes grants in the areas of Arts & Culture, Education, and Civic Improvements

Funding is limited to Wisconsin-based organizations, with an emphasis on those that benefit the people of the Greater Milwaukee area.

Some of our grant categories are by invitation only, while others in the areas of arts and culture, arts education, and early childhood education are subject to open application processes throughout the year.

Arts & Culture

We consider grants for organizations and programs (big and small) that enhance access to arts and culture and promote artistic and cultural knowledge for all Milwaukee residents.
