My granddaughter's visit to the Milwaukee Art Museum

Who would have thought that a four-year-old could have so much fun at the Milwaukee Art Museum? My wife and I recently spent a wonderful Saturday afternoon there with our granddaughter and learned that MAM is a great entertainment option for kids.

We also visited the Herzfeld Center for Photography and Media Arts, which the Herzfeld Foundation helped found and continues to support annually. I won’t pretend that all of the photographs interested Rozzie, but she thought the word “photography” was cool and did not stop repeating it for the rest of the day.

The Milwaukee Art Museum is one of the “bedrock” organizations we are proud to support both for its artistic and cultural value and the huge benefits it brings to Milwaukee’s tourism efforts and image. Little did I know – until a few weeks ago – that it’s also a great place for young kids!

We use our blog to inform our partners and interested parties about new developments at the Herzfeld Foundation and to share our thoughts and insights on successful programs we have supported and new grantmaking areas we plan to pursue.
