Preliminary Application
To initiate the submission process, all applicants requesting a grant from the Herzfeld Foundation must first complete the online preliminary application. The review process for a preliminary application takes approximately two weeks. After a review of the preliminary application, you will be informed as to the Foundation’s interest in receiving a full proposal.

Full Application
If the preliminary application is approved, you will receive notification of next steps. If you are asked to submit a full application, the Herzfeld Foundation will require a copy of your organization’s 501(c)(3) letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
